Acceptable Use Policy
1. Scope
1.1 Purpose. This Acceptable Use Policy (this "Policy") describes activities that are prohibited on the services (the "Services") provided by MineXHost LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("MineXHost," "we," "us," or "our").
1.2 Definitions. In this Policy, "you" and "your" refer to the person or entity that holds a MineXHost account, and "Server" means a game server provided through the Services.
1.3 Relationship to the Terms. This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. We may update this Policy as needed.
1.4 Consequences of Violation. Violations of this Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination.
2. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following content and conduct are prohibited on the Services.
2.1 Illegal Activity. Any activity that violates applicable law, including the distribution of illegal content, child sexual abuse material, or content that infringes intellectual property rights. MineXHost has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material and will report it to the appropriate authorities.
2.2 Attacks and Intrusion. Using the Services to launch denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service (DoS or DDoS) attacks, port scans, brute-force attacks, exploits, malware, or phishing, or to gain unauthorized access to any system or data.
2.3 Spam and Fraud. Sending unsolicited bulk messages, operating scams, trafficking in or using stolen payment card data (carding), or committing payment fraud.
2.4 Resource Abuse. Cryptocurrency mining; using a Server to run workloads unrelated to its operation as a game server; deliberately exhausting shared CPU, memory, network, or storage resources; or circumventing plan limits.
2.5 Harmful or Abusive Material. Content that harasses or threatens others or that incites violence or hatred against others.
2.6 Circumvention. Reselling, sublicensing, or sharing access to the Services in breach of your plan, or evading a suspension or ban.
3. Security Responsibilities
3.1 Server Software. You must keep the mods, plugins, and server software on your Server reasonably up to date and securely configured. You are responsible for any vulnerabilities you introduce.
3.2 Account Security. You must protect your credentials and enable two-factor authentication where it is available.
3.3 Reporting Security Issues. You must report any security issue you discover to [email protected] and may not exploit it.
4. Enforcement
4.1 Investigation. We may investigate suspected violations of this Policy and may cooperate with law enforcement.
4.2 Enforcement Measures. Depending on the severity of a violation, we may warn you, throttle or suspend a Server, suspend or terminate your account, remove offending content, or take any combination of these actions.
4.3 Notice. Where practical and lawful, we will give you notice. However, we may act immediately in response to an urgent threat to the Services or to others.
5. Reporting Abuse
To report a violation of this Policy by a Server, email [email protected] with details of the violation, including the IP address or hostname of the Server, the time of the violation, and supporting evidence.
