Infrastructure & Technology
Full transparency about the hardware, software, and systems powering your Minecraft server.
Transparency Notice
Unlike hosts that hide behind vague specifications, MineXHost shows exactly what runs your server — from the physical hardware to the software managing your world. Where this page names third-party providers, those are services we use — not formal partnerships.
Owned Infrastructure. Not Just Resold Hosting.
Many Minecraft hosts rent infrastructure from larger providers and resell server capacity. MineXHost owns and operates its own hardware. That gives us direct control over:
We decide how our infrastructure is configured instead of simply reselling someone else’s resources.
Server Hardware
Every MineXHost server runs on purpose-built server-grade infrastructure designed specifically for Minecraft workloads.
AMD EPYC 4565P
CPUMinecraft performance is heavily influenced by single-thread performance because the main game tick relies primarily on one thread. Our EPYC 4565P processors provide exceptional single-thread performance while maintaining enterprise server reliability — among the fastest average single-thread performance of any major Minecraft host. Take a closer look at our AMD EPYC 4565P hardware.
DDR5 ECC Memory
MemoryECC memory helps detect and correct memory errors, reducing the risk of hardware-related corruption during long-running server operation. Combined with high-performance processors and NVMe storage, this provides a stable platform for Minecraft worlds.
Gen4 NVMe Storage
StorageGen4 NVMe drives from leading manufacturers. Fast NVMe storage improves:
- World loading
- Chunk generation
- Save operations
- Modpack startup times
How CPU Allocation Works
MineXHost does not falsely advertise dedicated CPU cores. Instead, every plan includes a transparent CPU burst allocation. Your server runs on AMD EPYC 4565P processors and can use up to your plan’s burst CPU ceiling during demanding workloads, such as:
- Chunk generation
- Mod loading
- World saves
- Backups
- Complex simulations
When multiple servers require CPU at the same time, resources are fairly prioritized based on plan size. Larger plans receive higher CPU scheduling priority. This allows servers to benefit from available hardware while maintaining fair resource allocation.
How We Handle Memory
We believe customers should understand exactly how resources are managed.
We do not use uncontrolled overselling. MineXHost uses controlled memory allocation: each node contains 128GB of physical DDR5 ECC memory, and the maximum memory assigned to customer servers on a node is approximately 151GB. This allows efficient hardware usage while avoiding uncontrolled overselling models where large numbers of customers compete for the same resources.
We limit node capacity by available memory, server count, and performance requirements — not simply by filling every possible slot. A node will not continue accepting servers simply because space exists on paper.
Software Stack — Built In-House
Most hosts combine a third-party panel, separate billing software, and existing server management tools. MineXHost built the complete stack internally — the panel you click, the launcher that runs your server, the software on the machines, and the live stats in your dashboard. That means one login for everything instead of three systems duct-taped together, and when something needs fixing, we fix it ourselves instead of waiting on a vendor.
MineXPanel
Control Panel + Billing · In-HouseOur all-in-one control panel and store. A live console, a built-in file editor, one-click modpacks, backups, extra logins for your friends or staff, scheduled tasks, and billing — all in one place, under one login. No third-party panel bolted onto a separate billing system.
MineXEngine
Universal Server Launcher · In-HouseThe launcher inside every server. What it does today, in production:
- Detects mod loaders (Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, Quilt, Paper, Vanilla)
- Installs modpacks
- Configures Java environments
- Handles server startup
- Detects crashes and performs automatic recovery
- Collects deployment information for future compatibility improvements
MineXAgent
Node Daemon · In-HouseThe software running on every machine that hosts servers. Your server runs in its own sealed space that nothing else can reach, over a locked, encrypted connection — so no other customer’s server can ever touch yours. It also runs your installs, keeps every server to the resources it paid for, and manages your files and backups.
MineXConnect
Live Telemetry · In-HouseA lightweight add-on inside your server that sends live stats to your dashboard in real time — your TPS and who’s online. TPS is basically your server’s frame rate — how smooth it feels; higher and steadier means no lag. It works on every modpack and Minecraft version from 1.7 up, and it’s built to quietly step aside if anything ever goes wrong — it can never take your server down.
Network
High-Speed Connectivity
1 Gbps Down / 1 Gbps UpTwo independent internet connections, so you’re never fully offline. The main line is Xfinity (1 Gbps up and down), with T-Mobile 5G (400 Mbps down / 100 Mbps up) standing by as an automatic backup — if the main line ever drops, your server keeps running on the backup while it recovers.
OVH
Enterprise DDoS Protection by OVHA DDoS attack is when someone floods your server with junk traffic to try to force it offline — it happens to popular Minecraft servers a lot. Every server is protected through OVH DDoS mitigation infrastructure. MineXHost uses external network protection combined with our own infrastructure management.
Backup Infrastructure
Backups are stored locally for fast recovery and replicated off-site for disaster recovery.
Dedicated NAS
On-Site BackupsLocal Network Attached Storage provides quick backup and restore capabilities. Your worlds are automatically backed up daily with 7+ day retention.
BackBlaze B2
Off-Site Cloud StorageEnterprise cloud storage for disaster recovery. Your data is securely replicated off-site, ensuring you never lose your world even in worst-case scenarios.
Why Transparency Matters
Performance claims are easy to make. At MineXHost, we believe customers should be able to verify what they are buying. We publish:
Because trust comes from knowing exactly what powers your server.
