1. How It Works
We keep refunds simple. If you're not satisfied within 7 days of your initial purchase, cancel your service and open a billing ticket. We'll process your refund promptly — no explaining why.

2. Eligibility
- First-time customers only — within 7 calendar days of initial service activation
- One refund per customer — this means one refund per person/household, regardless of the number of accounts
- Service must not have been suspended or terminated for Terms of Service violations
- Payment via standard methods (credit card, PayPal, cryptocurrency)
- Service activation is defined as the moment your server is provisioned and accessible via the control panel
3. After 7 Days — Case-by-Case
Missed the window? After 7 days, refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We consider the duration of service used, the nature of the issue, and whether MineXHost was at fault. Open a support ticket in the Billing department, and we'll respond within 12 hours.
Extended outages or service failures: If MineXHost is at fault for extended outages or service failures, we may offer pro-rata refunds or service credits regardless of the refund window.
We're reasonable people. If there's a legitimate issue, we'll work with you to find a fair solution.
4. What's NOT Eligible
- Services terminated for Terms of Service violations (such as hosting illegal content, DDoS attacks, or malware distribution)
- Automatic renewal payments — cancel before your renewal date to avoid charges. We send a reminder email 5 days before renewal.
- Second or subsequent orders (7-day guarantee is for your first order only)
- Add-on services (such as dedicated IP addresses, additional storage, priority support upgrades)
- Orders with promotional discounts exceeding 50%
- Accounts involved in chargebacks or payment fraud
- Setup fees, if applicable, are non-refundable
- Domain registration fees are non-refundable
5. Refund Processing Times
Once we approve your refund, the time to receive funds depends on your payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days (depends on your bank)
- PayPal: 3-5 business days
- Cryptocurrency: 5-7 business days (refunded at the original USD value, minus applicable network transaction fees of approximately $5-15)
Important: All refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase. We cannot refund to a different payment method. Refunds are processed in USD. If you paid in another currency, your bank's exchange rate at the time of refund applies.
6. EU Consumer Rights
If you are a resident of the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.
- EU/EEA/UK residents are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts. This right applies in addition to our 7-day guarantee.
- To exercise your EU withdrawal right, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of purchase with a clear statement of withdrawal.
- EU refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal request.
- This right does not apply if you have expressly consented to begin service delivery and acknowledged that you lose your withdrawal right once the service is fully performed.
7. Chargebacks
We strongly encourage using our refund process instead of filing a chargeback. Our process is faster (24 hours vs 30-90 days for chargebacks) and protects your account standing.
- Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in service suspension pending investigation.
- If a chargeback is filed, you may be responsible for fees imposed by payment processors (typically $15-25 per dispute).
- We will attempt to resolve any billing dispute directly with you before contesting a chargeback.
Why not just ask us? Our refund process is faster than a chargeback dispute and won't negatively affect your account or bank standing. Let's resolve issues together.
8. Service Credits
In cases where a refund is not applicable but service issues occurred, we may offer service credits.
- Service credits are applied to your next billing cycle and cannot be converted to cash.
- Credits expire 12 months from issuance if unused.
9. How to Cancel
You can cancel your service at any time from your billing dashboard. No phone calls, no emails required — just click cancel.
- Log in to your billing dashboard
- Go to your active service and click "Cancel"
- Choose "Immediate" cancellation to stop your service now
We will send you a confirmation email when your cancellation is processed. Server data is retained for 14 days after cancellation. You can request a backup of your server data before cancellation through the control panel.
