Vanilla Forge Essentials Server Hosting
Each QA Lab test is a boot-and-ping test on a MineXHost QA server: MineXEngine installs the modpack, starts the server, and the server must stay running and answer a Minecraft server-list ping (or, if the pack turns that off, accept a connection on its game port). It does not measure sustained TPS, player joins or long-run stability. The full method is on the modpack test results page.

Recorded deployment history
Usually works. 6 of 7 recorded deployments booted successfully, across 3 MineXEngine builds. Every recorded failure was on an older MineXEngine build; the newest build we have data for (106.1.0) booted it clean. Counting deployments on MineXEngine 80.0.0 or newer only. The most recent recorded deployment was on .
This history covers every deployment MineXEngine recorded for Vanilla Forge Essentials, not only QA Lab tests. A deployment counts as booted when MineXEngine recorded a clean server start. Installs and boots that failed count against the pack, except failures caused by MineXHost's own infrastructure, which are left out.
How much memory it needs
Estimated: 6 GB minimum and 8 GB recommended. MineXHost estimates this from the pack's mod loader (Forge), not from a measurement of this pack. More players and added mods need more memory; the RAM calculator helps size a server. The smallest MineXHost plan that covers 8 GB is Bee (8 GB, $40 a month).
Test servers and customer servers
These results come from deployments MineXEngine recorded on MineXHost servers, including our QA Lab test servers. Test servers differ from customer servers:
- Test servers may automatically remove a mod that crashes the server. Customer servers name the mod and leave the decision to you.
- Test servers get 12 GB of memory. Plans start at 3 GB, so a large modpack that passes here can run out of memory on a smaller plan.
