Check status.minexhost.com for incidents and announced maintenance, and minexhost.com/live-status for the live state of each machine. Inside the panel, a banner appears when planned maintenance affects one of your servers, and your server's own page shows if we can't reach the machine it runs on.
MineXHost is in Early Access: the service is live and still being built, so expect maintenance and occasional outages.
The status page: status.minexhost.com
Our public status page is hosted separately from the panel. It shows the uptime history and incident reports for the website and panel and for each machine that runs game servers. It is the same page we use, and it is the record our Service Level Agreement measures against.
- We post incidents there within 30 minutes during support hours, and as soon as we can outside them.
- We announce planned maintenance there, and in our Discord, at least 24 hours ahead.
The status page tracks machines, not individual servers. Your server's uptime is the uptime of the machine it runs on.
The live fleet page: minexhost.com/live-status
This page on our own site shows each machine right now: Online, Degraded, Unreachable or Maintenance, with a plain-English reason when it isn't online, the number of servers and players online, and maintenance planned for the coming week.
Notices inside the panel
- Scheduled maintenance. A banner reading "Scheduled maintenance:" and the title appears on every page while a maintenance window that touches one of your servers is coming up or under way. It says when, and what it means for your server:
- "No change to your server is expected."
- "Your server stays online; you may notice reduced performance."
- "Your server will be stopped for the duration of this window."
- Announcements. Service notices, such as billing notices or an incident, appear as a banner at the top of the panel.
- Degraded performance. If our site switches to its backup internet connection, a banner says so. Your servers keep running, but you may notice higher latency, slower transfers or a brief reconnect.
You can close any of these banners. Closing one hides it in that browser only.
When only your server seems down
- Host unreachable on your server's page means we can't reach the machine hosting it right now. Your server may still be running. Power controls and live stats pause until the machine reconnects, which usually takes a few minutes. If it lasts longer, open a ticket.
- Crashed, or a server that keeps restarting, is usually about the server's own mods or settings. See My modpack won't start.
- Running but players can't join: see How do I connect to my Minecraft server?
If the status page already shows an incident, you don't need to open a ticket for it. If it doesn't, open one from your server's Get Support page and tell us when the problem started and what you see. See How to open a support ticket.
